Duties include but are not limited to: Answering phones; greeting and signing in visitors; sorting mail. Must have a pleasant phone voice, a “can do” attitude, and abide by the confidentiality guidelines of DCCH. This is primarily a front Desk/receptionist role for 2-4 hours per week on Mondays or Wednesdays

Duties include: Mowing, weeding, housekeeping, and professional quality painting.

We’ve kicked off a new project at the CGC: Treeforestation. We started this reforestation project to save and protect Cincinnati’s green spaces. We will begin by having a series of invasive removal workdays, and then will begin planting native trees. This is an ongoing project, and we could use your help!

Teach individuals with disabilities how to ride a bike. Be a “spotter” for the same rider for each of the 5 days and experience the thrill of giving the gift of riding a bike!

Help in our warehouse by wrapping diapers and filling orders.

Help by overseeing children and adult arcade-style games; help with chili cook-off, selling tickets; soft drinks, Museum tours, set-up and tear-down.

Help by walking our guests through a time-line of Cincinnati firefighting starting in the early 1800’s to current day.

Seniors 50 and older compete in the Southwest Ohio Senior Olympics (April-May) in a variety of athletic events. You’ll help time, keep score and show hospitality.

Be part of the team that Village Life calls on when we need help at an event, or when we have a big mailing to get out, etc.

We’re looking for committee members like you to contribute your expertise locally. We need people on the ground – but before that can happen we need a vision and a plan.
