Volunteers can choose to help set up, tear down, help pour beer, or man the registration table/water stations.

On the last Saturday of every month, help serve at mobile food pantries, at St. Elizabeth’s Covington location and at Ludlow Vets. These pantries bring nutritious food to over 600 families in these neighborhoods and are held outdoors, rain or shine. Please arrive by 8:30 AM and check in at the volunteer tent.

Every day, an average of 200 struggling neighbors call St. Vincent de Paul for assistance. We need volunteers to return calls and assist people through the application process. Accompany neighbors around our choice food pantry, letting them know how many of each item they can take, bagging groceries, and helping them out to their vehicles. On slower days, volunteers might also sort donations and stock the pantry shelves. Our food pantry is open on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings.

Every Wednesday morning, we send pairs of volunteers out into the community to visit the homes of our neighbors in need. These home visits allow us to better understand the needs of our neighbors and provide them assistance when necessary.

Volunteers can also help by bringing an activity to the residents. By participating in fun experiences, the residents can make new friends, learn new skills, and thrive again as they work towards independence. The possibilities are endless – give us an idea and we’ll help you make it possible!

The residents of Tender Mercies are always in need of household items and supplies to make their home more welcoming and comfortable. Donating items on our Wish List is much appreciated by the residents as they regain stability and learn the skills needed to regain independence and self-sufficiency.

There are several committees in need of additional help including Development, Golf Outing & Gala.

You can help by preparing a meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) off-site and serve to the residents. There are a variety of available dates throughout the year. You can serve a meal one time or regularly.
